Intel’s share price isn’t far from a fresh 20-year low while archrival AMD and Nvidia have rocketed higher. It seems that the newish CEO Pat Gelsinger has not done enough to win back investors’ trust yet. It looks like he’ll need more time to do that as his company continues to get outpaced by rivals. This is despite the fact that its latest flagship CPU, ‘Bergamo’, is designed to counter threats from AMD’s many-core processors and homegrown Arm chips from AWS.
