Dior, the French luxury brand that launched the $35 “no-tapping” lip balm, has begun offering the product in China.
The new product is called “Mondo” and will be available in China on September 29.
“It will be sold at Dior stores in China and also at other Chinese online retailers and at local beauty stores,” a spokesperson told Reuters.
Dior’s first “no touch” product, the Lipidum in the Sky, was released in 2016.
It has since become popular, selling for over $100,000 a pop on Alibaba’s Taobao and the Chinese e-commerce platform Baidu.
Chinese Beauty brand L’Oréal launched a similar no-touch lip balmet, in 2017, and has since launched a number of no-tipping products in other countries.
