The home improvement industry has struggled to find an economic footing in the aftermath of Brexit.
Many companies are facing difficulties in finding buyers, with some saying they are unable to sell to the UK because of Brexit rules.
However, there are some bright spots, with British-based companies such as Canvas Beauty and Beauty Essentials having begun selling products to UK customers, and are planning to sell more.
Canvas Beauty’s spokeswoman said the company had sold over 5,000 of its products to customers in the UK, which is about 1,000 more than it had in the past. “
It’s been a long road, but we’ve now seen the first signs of success with a small number of UK customers.”
Canvas Beauty’s spokeswoman said the company had sold over 5,000 of its products to customers in the UK, which is about 1,000 more than it had in the past.
A spokesperson for Beauty Essences said it had sold out of all of its UK products in the last two months, and that it was now looking to sell additional products to overseas customers.
However, it was unclear whether those sales would have been made directly to customers outside the UK.
“We are continuing to work with the UK government on the best possible solution to ensure we can continue to serve the UK market,” a spokesperson said.
Canvases spokeswoman said that the company was still looking to expand overseas, adding that it is not yet certain whether it would be able to continue to sell products in its current UK markets.
The spokesperson said the UK was a fantastic market for home improvement, adding: “We’re looking forward to bringing our home improvement products and expertise to the new market, which will be a major benefit for UK consumers.”
